Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID; we never see or store your credit card details.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and personalize the Stray reading experience
• Generate essays tailored to your interests
• Send magic link emails for authentication
• Process subscription payments
• Improve our service and fix issues

AI and Content Generation

Stray uses AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate essays from research papers. Your topic preferences help us select relevant content, but your personal information is not shared with AI systems for training purposes.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe - for payment processing
• Google - if you choose to sign in with Google (OAuth only)
• Anthropic - for AI content generation (no personal data)

Data Retention

We retain your account data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us, and we will remove your personal information within 30 days.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics that follow you across the web.
